Airborne Surveillance

 

The Unmanned Airborne Surveillance Drone (UASD) is the latest addition to the extensive range of crime fighting equipment at ASE’s disposal.

 

With brushless motors and noise levels as low as 63Db@3m, the UASD is virtually inaudible and at 40m-70m in size, all but invisible.

 

With the use of the UASD we are more than adequately equipped to detect  GSM jammers, as well as a range of criminal activities. We have access to thermal imagery, the ability to detect criminal trace evidence (escape routes) and covert aerial photography, both still and in video format.

   

The UASD is perfectly suited for securing large areas which are often difficult to secure by traditional methods such as off road vehicles.

 

Fitted with the latest closed-circuit TV camera, the Drone resembles a miniature helicopter and can be operated by ASE personnel using a remote control.

 

The Drone can also record images from a height of 1500 feet. These images are available instantly and can be transmitted to a vehicle or control room for processing leading to immediate ground action and/or simple data collection.

 

The Drone is fitted with a night vision camera and can be deployed to the air in less than three minutes. This is largely due to its compact size of three feet wide with a weight of just 2.5 pounds.
